Painting my photos

Where does the inspiration come from.

Well I have over 50,000 photos I have taken over the years, actually that is on my newest MacBook Pro. I also have over 40,000 on hard drives. So needless to say I will never run out of ideas and inspiration. And of course most of my photos are flowers…. surprise surprise.

But I changed things up a bit here and decided to paint one of my landscape photos of the countryside. This was a fun exercise painting one photo in 3 different palettes.

I may go back in and add another layer to the last two paintings, but for now I am leaving them as is.

This is the exciting thing about painting, we can take one image and paint it multiple times and it will never be the same.
